Briseis by Tyanite Briseis by Tyanite
Achilles' Trojan warprize.
She was the cause of Achilles' Great Flounce Off that consumed most of the books of the Iliad. I don't know much about her yet but eventually that'll change.
Yeah I know her outfit is really Indian looking. I was super inspired by Saris okay? Okay.
Sorry for the lack of information on her...

I don't care I Briseis looks Indian. I happened to like the fifteenth century clothing in that BBC adaptation of Troilus and Cressida. That was thinking outside of the box and so is this!

I was super inspired by Indian and Middle Eastern fashion motifs in general for all my Trojans. I didn't mean for Briseis to look like the inspiration, not the end result, whoops!
But I do have reasoning behind why I drew from those places for inspiration. Troy is in Turkey, on the Mediterranean side. We know the Ancient Greeks traded with India, and it wouldn't be an unreasonable extrapolation to say that the trade went through the city of Troy. That would make Troy in essence, a trading hub but also a cultural center, where the Hellenes would have (friendly) interactions with other cultures. It would make sense that Trojan fashion would be different (a mixture of all the other cultures fashions) than the rest of the Achaeans.
